In this satirical comedy, the harried staff of fictitious Lowball Productions struggles to keep their sanity intact while dealing with skimpy budgets, implacable egos, hard-nosed network execs, and ratings-driven "reality" programming. Lowball's TV projects range from Top Shots, an elimination show where markswomen shoot at each other with Airsoft rifles to a “serious” historical documentary, Pets of the Third Reich.

Created and directed by Walter Gottlieb and Co-Produced by Jimmy Cooney, The Videomakers features a talented cast including Ann Marie Barbour, Gia Mora, Mundy Spears, Lee Ordeman, Jake Koenig, Brandon Dorsey, Charlie Davidson, and Arielle Gottlieb. The Echo Boom, a popular DC band, lends their pop/rock/hip-hop sound to the score.
Episode 1 debuted on Thursday August 20, 2009, followed by Episode 2 to on August 27th, Episode 3 on September 17th and Episode 4 on October 6th, with additional webisodes to be released later in October and November, 2009.
